Back on Tack

It's good to be back.

To catch up anyone who cares, in the last two years since I last updated regularly I:

Got married
Got a full-time job
Moved out on my own
Graduated college
Moved to Seattle
Struggle to write a lot in between

I now have internet access in my home, and I hope to make myself a part of this community again. It was so encouraging to experience the art of other people and hear their reactions to my writing, and I look forward to be a part of it again.

I want to make this area a launching point for my writing, a place to really make it good. If you think I suck, tell me, if you like what I write, tell me why. I want to make myself better, and I want to make friends with other artists.

If it all sounds pie in the sky, well, good. There's too much cynicism if you ask me.

Anyhow, IM me any time, or send me an e-mail. I'm really interested in talking about anything, and being in a new town without many (any) friends, I have a lot on my mind.

Hello! I am thinking about you! I did manage to drop the word "vibraton" on some innocent fellow coworkers, but they never even batted an eye, just pretended to know what I was talking about. So the word really sounds great and natural, or psychology was at play here! :giggle:

Terrified in an exhilerated, OH my gosh! THis could be for real! Maybe I am good??!!! What were they thinking to pick me???? Someone appreciates my thoughts!!!! Sort of way, right? THat is how I felt when my pictures were chosen for honorable mention at the museum, I was so suprised! It really gave me good motivation to keep photographing the things that I see in my unique vision. Validation is nice! And I hope that this will keep you writing. I hope that I will know you for a long time to come so that I can watch your words be colored by life. You have raw talent that will be sharpened by experience and living.

I am proud to know such a talented writer... I know you are good, sometimes you will write a line that really sing with purpose and clarity, and I am blown away by it and want to quote it! That is when I know it is good, when I wish I had written it myself. I am so happy for you! Tell me more, where will they be published? and which other ones got chosen???

Snap, I think I misused some words there.

By submitted, I meant submitted for review...not getting published (yet).

Hehehe, thanks for the encouragement, I'll find out if they actually will be getting published in the next week or so.

Then I'll be figuring out whether I do have talent or not, ya? ;)

Man, now I feel like they have to get accepted, just so's I don't let you down ;)
